Slovenian High Jumper Marusa has had a successful 2016, setting a new personal best at her home track in Celje, and qualifying for the Olympic Games in Rio. She didn't make it beyond the heats and didn't make the final. In 2010 as a teen she was featured in Slovenia's Miss Sporta, which is essentially a beauty contest for aspiring sportswomen in Slovenia, in order to attract sponsorship.
