Top 25 of 2016: #9 Anna Sen

Anna Sen is the 9th place in the Top 25 of 2016. The Russian Handball player is the highest ranked player in the top 25 from her sport ever. The 26 year old won Gold this summer at the Olympics as Russia beat all before them to win gold. Anna was a vital part of that team. She first featured on the site in August during the Olympics, and immediately got huge hits.

Top 25 of 2016: #15 Amanda Kurtovic

Amanda is  Norwegian Handball player. The Norwegians took Bronze in Rio, but despite the lack of a higher ranked medal Amanda still ranks in the top 15 from having had a huge level popularity since being featured during the Olympics. Amanda already has a Gold medal from 2012, so the Bronze is a little disappointing for her, losing out to the French and Russians. Norway are the current World Champions. Amanda only first featured in 2016 so has never appeared on the Top 25 of the year.

Anna is a Russian Handball player who has just been competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics and her side, the Russians in fact won Gold, beating the French in the final. The Russians have been gradually improving for a while and after numerous mid position finishes in the European Championships an Olympic win was a bit of a surprise.

Club: Issy Paris-Hand

Norwegian Stine Bredal Oftedal is a part of the Norwegian Womans Handball squad who are currently in the 3rd place playoff for Bronze. They reached the semi finals. Stine plays club Handball in France for Paris. She has a host of titles including World and European Championships.
