Top 25 of 2016: #24 Mariana Pajon

Mariana has featured in the top 25 before, in 2014 but missed out on the 2015 list narrowly. The 25 year old claimed her second Gold Medal, after winning gold at London in 2012, she won gold too at Rio. As well as Olympic glory, she was World Champion, winning in her home city of Medellin, Colombia. Mariana has both huge success and great popularity on the pages of HWiS. It takes her to 24th on the big list, bettering her previous best of 25th.
