Alex is a veteren of the Snowboard Cross scene with a pro career dating back to 2005. She has competed in 2 Olympics, being the flag beareer for the Bulgarians in 2010. She medalled at the 2015 Winter Universiade, winning Gold. She notably won Silver in 2012 at the Winter X Games.
